- Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan in the main event of Fastlane, retaining his Universal Championship. After the referee was knocked out, Edge stepped in to call the action. Jey Uso attacked but was quickly dispatched. Using the chair left in the ring, Bryan went to hit Roman but caught Edge instead. Bryan got Edge in the Yes Lock and made him tap out, but with no referee, the match continued. Edge broke the hold, hitting both men with a chair. Roman rolled on top of Bryan for the pin and win.

- Alexa Bliss defeated Randy Orton with a helping hand from a returning Fiend. Bray Wyatt has been away since TLC 2020 when Orton lit him on fire.

- Drew McIntyre and Sheamus had quite the battle at WWE Fastlane, with McIntyre coming out on top.

- Seth Rollins was victorious in his match with Shinsuke Nakamura. After the match, he talked about how everyone loves his "in-ring drip."

- Riddle pitched his tricked-out scooter business idea to Shinsuke Nakamura.

- Shane McMahon injured his knee training for his match with Braun Strowman. He enlisted Elias to take his place. Things did not go well for Elias.

- After defeating Elias, Braun Strowman was on the hunt for Shane McMahon.

- Apollo Crews was not pleased after losing to Big E, again.

- After losing the Tag Team Title match, things broke down between WrestleMania opponents Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

- Shayna Baszler says that the Women's Tag Team Championship is the most important in the company. She asks how many more people they need to beat before people start realizing it.

- After losing to Riddle, RETRIBUTION turned their backs on Ali. Mace and T-BAR delivered a double-chokeslam for good measure.
