Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes meet once again.

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes meet once again.
Rollins and Rhodes have a lot of history together, with the pair facing off with each other on several occasions in 2022 upon Rhodes’ return to WWE following starting All Elite Wrestling, before Rollins would help Cody dethrone Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. Early on in the night at WWE Crown Jewel, The Vision’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker were instructed not to help Rollins later in the night by Paul Heyman, leaving Rollins with all the work to do in the main event where Rollins and Rhode meet for the men’s Crown Jewel title.
Rollins would be out first, with the Perth crowd serenading him before Cody Rhodes would make his own entrance to a loud reception of his own. Early on in the match, Cody would take control with Rollins struggling to find a footing in the match as he threw a tantrum at ringside early on. Rollins would blame Wade Barrett and Michael Cole for chants he was receiving, leading to him getting the advantage over Rhodes once he stepped in to help the announce team. From that point on, two men would swap momentum throughout the bout.
As the bout would start to kick into another gear, Rollins would go out to ringside and take his watch that Cody previously gifted him, before putting it down in the corner and running into a kick, Cody Cutter and a Cross Rhodes for a near fall on Seth. Soon after, Rollins would hit a coast to cost flying headbutt for a near fall of his own.

Shortly after, Rollins would hit a Spanish Fly followed by a Manhandle Slam for yet another near fall before Cody fired back with an Avalanche Cross Rhodes for a kickout at two from Rollins. In the climax of the finish, the referee would be collided with, leading to Rollins hitting Rhodes with a punch enhanced by the previously mentioned watch. Seth would go on to hit two more stomps, one from the second rope to defeat Rhodes to win the WWE Crown Jewel Championship.

The show would go off the air with Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer holding their titles in the ring.
