Seth Rollins explains how he came to announce a pick at the 2025 NFL Draft.

At this year's 2025 NFL Draft last month, two pro wrestlers would read picks, with Seth Rollins announcing for The Chicago Bears, while Jimmy Uso would read for the San Francisco 49ers. Rollins' fandom of The Bears is well documented, with his 'I hate football' posts becoming a regular occurrence when The Bears suffered a loss.

While speaking on the Chicago Bears' podcast, Seth Rollins was asked how he came to announce the pick for the Bears at the Draft.

"My manager just got it set up. I mean, obviously, we've been doing a lot of work with the franchise and the NFL over the past year. I think we saw that the draft was in Green Bay and he reached out and said I'd be interested. And the team said, well, let's make it happen. You know, let's see what we can do for day two or day three. So I was I think just suffering through many, many seasons of Bears football got me to where I am today. So I think that's pretty much it, but yeah, it was all him and the NFL for being so gracious and allowing me to take that spot."

Rollins recently challenged for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the May 5th edition of WWE RAW, which led to the return of CM Punk. You can read more about that here.
