Seth Rollins Hasn’t Thought About His Last Match Yet, Instead Has Urgency To Do Things In Wrestling That He Hasn’t Done Yet

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch aren’t thinking about the end.
Fans are still reeling from John Cena’s final match, which took place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. In 2026, other legends like Hiroshi Tanahashi and AJ Styles will say goodbye to the world of professional wrestling as well.
Speaking with Ross Tucker for a new interview, Rollins was asked if he ever thinks about his final match and what it could look like.
“Nah man, not really. I got a lot more years left in the tank, so I’m not sure I’m there just yet. I think often, I guess, about the mortality of my career because I started when I was 17 and now I’m nearly 40 and I’m certainly not going until I’m 60. I’m almost closer to the end than the beginning. So I think about, I suppose, like the mortality and the fact that it’s winding down. Maybe there’s some urgency to do some things that I haven’t done or contribute in a different way. But, my last match, my last moment, that’s so far away that I haven’t quite got there yet.”
Becky Lynch was quick and honest with her response to the question.
“Nah, not yet.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Rollins and Lynch talked about the result of John Cena’s final match. Check out their full comments here.
