Seth Rollins: It's Never Going To Get To The Point Of Going South With CM Punk Like It Did Anywhere Else

CM Punk's tenure in AEW came to an end a day before AEW All Out when he was fired for a backstage incident at AEW All In with Jack Perry. Tony Khan stated that he feared for his life and that Punk endangered innocent workers backstage.

A year before he was fired, Punk got into a backstage altercation with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) stemming from comments made by Punk during his press conference at AEW All Out 2022. Punk was suspended from September 2022 to June 2023 for his role in the altercation.

Just over two months after AEW fired him, Punk returned to WWE almost a decade after his departure.

While things went south for Punk in AEW a year after he returned to wrestling in 2021, Seth Rollins doesn't think things will escalate as far in WWE.

"It's never going to get to that point. If anything goes south the way it did anywhere else, it's not ever going to get to that point. This locker room is...we're a bunch of professionals, for the most part, over here. We're a bunch of professionals. I don't want to go too far into anything else, but it's just not going to happen over here. There is going to be a line drawn in the sand, everything is going to be A OK, I feel very good about that," said Rollins while speaking to Jimmy Traina on the SI Media podcast.

Elsewhere during the interview, Rollins details he feelings regarding Punk's return.
