Seth Rollins: Jon Moxley Is Trying To Take Food Off My Table, We're Gonna Knock AEW Dead

Seth Rollins talks Jon Moxley and AEW.

Over the past couple of months, Seth Rollins has stepped up for WWE in the face of competition from New Japan and All Elite Wrestling. He's already gotten into a social media argument with IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay and has taken shots at former WWE superstar and Shield brother Dean Ambrose, who is now going by Jon Moxley.

In a media call to promote SummerSlam, Rollins once again addressed Moxley and AEW (via POST Wrestling's Jon Pollock)

"I was surprised by it for sure. I knew Ambrose needed some time away from WWE but the thing is, he just loves wrestling, he loves the industry, he just wanted some freedom and do his own thing and that happens, you know? And that happens for everybody and I understand his position and why he wanted to go over there and that’s on him. But, now he’s competition, now he’s the one trying to take dinner off my table so good on him but we’re going to do our best to continue to be the best here at WWE and those guys want to step up to the big leagues to give it a shot? Then by all means but we’re going to knock them dead just like we do everybody else."

In the same interview, Rollins once again stated that he believes WWE has the best professional wrestling on the planet.

Rollins might be the public face of WWE at the moment, but he is no longer WWE Universal Champion, having lost the title to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules. Rollins will get his rematch at WWE SummerSlam.
