Seth Rollins Takes Down Roman Reigns With Pedigree And Stomp After Trading Verbal Barbs On WWE Raw
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins continue to dig at each other.
Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was headlined by a segment between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, as they signed the contract for their match at SummerSlam. Reigns was out to the ring first, commanding the crowd to acknowledge him. Moments later, Rollins hit the ring as well.
Rollins signed the contract and joked that three things are certain in this life — death, taxes, and that Seth Rollins will beat Roman Reigns every single time. Reigns responded by saying that he will show the difference between himself and Rollins at SummerSlam. He proceeded to sign the contract himself.
Moments later, Rollins stepped out of the ring and joked that he’ll see Reigns the next time he shows up for work. Reigns fired back by bringing up the injury history of Rollins, saying that he can’t handle the burden and pressure of being a top guy.
This comment caused Rollins to slide back in the ring. Reigns continued with his insults, joking that Rollins had to fake an injury to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Then, the ‘OTC’ slammed Rollins for still being #2 despite being given the same tools by his “work daddy”, Triple H.
Rollins responded by saying that he is proud of himself and that he isn’t running the same race as Reigns as. After taking him down with a right hand, Rollins attempted to stomp Reigns, but it was reversed into a Superman Punch. Rollins then took down Reigns with a Pedigree and a stomp to end the show.
