Seth Rollins is glad to replace part-timers on the WWE 2K18 cover.
Seth Rollins is appearing on the cover of the video game WWE 2K18. In previous years the game has featured John Cena, The Rock, and Steve Austin among others. In an interview with Between The Ropes, Rollins was asked about his first thoughts when he found out he would be on the cover. Rollins said he was happy to represent the younger generation.
"First off, I gotta admit, it was 'finally.' Not just for me but our entire group of guys and girls that work hard every single day all the time. Past cover athletes, taking nothing away from them, they are all Hall of Famers. Fantastic, but they are not out there grinding. So for me to represent our group of folks, finally," said Rollins.
The interview took place at a press conference for the video game. The interview was among many done that day by WWE roster members. Rollins also discussed his recent mending of fences with Dean Ambrose.
WWE 2K18 comes out October 17th. It will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game has already had a portion of its roster--over forty wrestlers--revealed. Rollins is not the only WWE wrestler who will appear on a cover this year. There is also an alternative edition of the game which features John Cena.
