Seth Rollins Says He Still Apologizes To John Cena For Breaking His Nose

On the July 27, 2015 episode of WWE Raw, John Cena and Seth Rollins battled for the United States Championship.

Cena picked up the victory, but left with a broken nose courtesy of a knee by Rollins.

Speaking to Nick Viall on Going Deep, Rollins was asked about accidents in the ring.

“I broke John Cena’s nose one time in a match. He had to continue, but it was a bad break. It was like sideways. It was so much blood. I felt so bad. He finished the whole. I was so apologetic. Not only after, but weeks after. I probably still apologize to John,” he said.

Asked if Cena was gracious about the incident, Rollins replied, “Of course. It happens. It’s an accident. If someone tries to hurt you, that’s a different animal.”

Rollins and Cena would have many battles over the years, but did not face off in singles competition during Cena’s retirement tour in 2025.

While making the media rounds, Seth Rollins spoke about AJ Styles. Learn more here.
