Seth Rollins Says Reuniting The Shield Would Be Great

Seth Rollins says a reunion of the shield is not impossible.

In 2012, The Shield was one of the most popular acts in WWE until they broke up in 2014. Since then, the three members Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins have been on different brands and in separate storylines. Until the Superstar Shakeup, where Ambrose came to Raw and eventually teamed back up with Rollins. The two of them won the Raw Tag-Team Championship at WWE Summerslam

In an interview with Dakota Student, Rollins talked about tag-team wrestling and The Shield. He said while he, Ambrose, and Reigns were in The Shield, they "revolutionized" wrestling as a team. He also said he loves the atmosphere of tag-team wrestling and its chaotic nature. When asked about Ambrose and him joining forces with Roman Reigns again, Rollins said it was not out of the question.

“We got a lot coming up. For me, who knows. Obviously right now I’m focusing on being the Raw Tag Team Champion. You know, a Shield reunion, who knows? I never thought Ambrose and I would be back together doing this, so if we got Roman on board, that’d be great, but we got a lot of stuff to deal with on our own. We got Cesaro and Sheamus breathing down our necks,” said Rollins.

On September 24th, Rollins and Ambrose are defending their Raw Tag-Team Championship against Sheamus and Cesaro at WWE No Mercy. On the same pay-per-view, Reigns is facing John Cena in a singles match. Fightful Wrestling will be providing live coverage and a recapping podcast
