Seth Rollins Sets His Sights On World Heavyweight Title, Vows To Make Omos Famous At WWE Backlash

Seth Rollins wants the gold, and he's prepared to go through Omos first.

During the April 21 episode of WWE SmackDown, the company announced that Rollins will face Omos at WWE Backlash. On the April 24 episode of WWE Raw, Rollins came to the ring and commented on the news that WWE will crown a new World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Night of Champions. Rollins noted that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns wants everyone to think they want what he has, but Rollins declared that he wants to fight. He called the new title an opportunity to fight and push the industry forward, The former Universal Champion stated that the new championship is about more than part-timers and politics. Before he could say more, he was interrupted by MVP and Omos.

MVP told Rollins that he wouldn't have much of a future after WWE Backlash, as Omos will score a big victory when they clash. Rollins responded by saying that Omos was born a once-in-a-generation talent, but he made himself into one. He made it clear that he wasn't afraid of the giant, and he said he would make him famous at WWE Backlash.
