Seth Rollins’ major injury at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth caused WWE to completely reset their plans for the remainder of 2025.
At WWE Crown Jewel: Perth last year, Seth would take to the top rope and would attempt a coast-to-coast headbutt on Cody Rhodes, hitting the move but unfortunately injuring his shoulder, taking him out of action until the Elimination Chamber 2026 Premium Live Event where he would make his return to the company. This would strip him of his momentum that he had as World Heavyweight Champion, which he would be forced to relinquish after the injury.
In WWE Unreal Season 3, it would be shown that the company would completely reset their main event plans for the remainder of 2025 following Rollins’ injury, clearing their whiteboard in creative meetings. Triple H also shared Rollins’ immediate reaction to the injury when he got in the ring with him following the Crown Jewel bout.
“I remember getting in the ring to put the title on him, I looked at him and said, ‘how bad is it?’ he said, ‘I’m fucked’.”

Elsewhere in the same episode of WWE Unreal, AJ Lee spoke about signing her new WWE deal, noting that it felt like a ‘boss-ass moment’. You can read more about that here.
