Seth Rollins: Wrestling Is Easy To Follow, No Matter Who You Are

Seth Rollins does a local interview ahead of Raw.

The WWE Universal Champion knows what it takes to reach the top of the sport. This year alone, Rollins has won the Men's Royal Rumble and defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. He's the focal point of WWE Raw and tasked with carrying the brand as the top champion.

Speaking to LexGo in Kentucky, Rollins discussed his passion for wrestling.

“In every walk of life and every job, there are just people who are happy to be there, and I was never that person,” Rollins said. “I just have so much passion for what we do that I always wanted to be the best. I just think what’s really resounded with audiences over the years is my ability to be authentic. I think people have always seen that about me. It doesn’t feel put on, because it isn’t. It’s something that really brings people together and I think in 2019, where there seems to be so much animosity in our society, wrestling is so simple. I think it’s so easy to follow, no matter who you are."

Rollins continued, “Even now, at the top of the mountain, I’m never one of those guys who is going to be complacent. For me, it’s about growing this industry and growing the business and making it the best it possibly can.”

With The Beast slain, Rollins will move on to face AJ Styles at WWE Money in the Bank on May 19. The match became official this past Monday on Raw when Styles defeated Baron Corbin to earn a title shot.
