Sexy Star's Issues With AAA & Lucha Underground Continue

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that the situation with Sexy Star and Lucha Underground has just taken a turn. Lucha Underground is now backing AAA’s Dorian Roldan, who has said that people who leave AAA may not be featured in Lucha Underground.

This could also lead to issues with current Trios Champion member Fenix, who left AAA, and former Trios Champion member Jack Evans, who has had issues with the promotion. The former LU Champion Sexy Star would like to start a career in boxing, but AAA says she needs to book all dates through them, because of her contract with the Mexican promotion.

Fenix has changed his name to Rey Fenix, but that name was also trademarked by AAA even though he didn't start using it until after he left. He has since changed his name again, to Fenix El Rey. If he continues to work with Lucha Underground, he is allowed to use the "Fenix" name in that promotion.
