NXT on May 28 is shaping up to be a busy night.
WWE confirmed that Sexxy Red will be in the NXT Arena on May 28. The winner of XXL's 2024 Female Rapper of the Year and BET's Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist of 2023 will be on NXT for the first time ever. In the past, she's tweeted about the program and has shown love to Shawn Michael's theme song.
In more pressing squared circle matters, fans will discover who will challenge Roxanne Perez for the WWE NXT Women's Championship at WWE NXT Battleground as her opponent will be revealed on May 28.
Plus, Ridge Holland will take on Riley Osbourne as the Chase University member has decided he's had enough of Holland's erratic behavior and "well-meaning" mishaps.
Additionally, Je'Von Evans will team with WWE NXT Champion Trick Willams against Gallus' Mark Coffey and Wolfgang after the renegade group attacked both men on May 21.
Rounding out the card, the final two spots in the NXT Women's North American Title Ladder Match at WWE NXT Battleground will be filled. In the first of two qualifying matches, Michin will take on Tatum Paxley. In the second match, two young up-and-comers will look to take a step towards making history as Wren Sinclair battles Kelani Jordan.
