Shane McMahon Returning To Smackdown After Hospitalization

Shane McMahon will return to Smackdown for the first time since he was attacked and hospitalized.

It has been barley over a week since Shane McMahon was hospitalized with a hernia and diverticulitis and McMahon will be appearing on Smackdown five days before his scheduled tag team match at Wrestlemania 34. WWE made the announcement during Raw and also tweeted the following.

Apollo From Gladiators Makes Surprise Appearance At WWE Live In London

A few weeks ago, McMahon put Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a match against each other at Wrestlemania. This led to the two wrestlers attacking McMahon which WWE blames for his hospitalization. Two weeks ago, Zayn and Owens were fired by Daniel Bryan and attacked him as well. Bryan would come out last week to create the tag team match of him and McMahon versus Zayn and Owens. If Zayn and Owens win, they can come back to Smackdown.

Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for Wrestlemania 34 and Smackdown.
