Shawn Michaels Doesn't Want To Put Himself Through The Preparation For WrestleMania Match

Shawn Michaels says a WrestleMania match is strenuous.

After some comments by Shawn Michaels earlier this month, there has been a lot of questions to Michael and those around him about Michaels coming back to WWE for one more match. In an interview with the Daily Star, Michaels was asked again about returning and he said if it was for one more big match at WrestleMania it would be a lot for his 52 year old body to handle.

“To put me in a singles match a mania it’s a very strenuous and anxious process, once you get in there it’s phenomenal. But to get ready for it is 100% work, and I don’t want to put myself or my family through that to go out and try and steal the show at 52 for God’s sakes,” said Shawn Michaels.

Lately, Michaels has made appearances during kick-off shows for pay-per-views, was in the ring at the 25th anniversary of Raw, and appeared at the United Kingdom tournament. In the rest of the interview, Michaels said he would come back for "silly" match.
