Shawn Michaels Praises Tatum Paxley: “She Has Connected With Our Audience In A Way That Very Few People Have”

There’s a feature piece from The Dallas Morning News about WWE’s NXT brand. Two of the individuals who were interviewed for the piece were Tatum Paxley and NXT overseer Shawn Michaels.

Michaels heaped praise onto Paxley and said she’s connected with the NXT audience in a way that very few people have. He said it’s been a blast to see the direction her on-screen character has taken.

“Tatum (Paxley) is an unbelievably unique individual when it comes to being an NXT superstar. She has connected with our audience in a way that very few people have. She is the girl next door, but she also has these dark and kind of strange qualities that endear people to her… The arc of her storyline over the last several years has just been something that’s been incredibly fun to watch. It’s been an absolute blast to be a part of.”

Paxley is on the marquee for NXT’s Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event. She’ll be challenging Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.
