Williams was signed to WWE in 2021, and has since become a staple of their programming, first on WWE NXT and now on the WWE main roster as the WWE United States Champion. Now, Shawn Michaels has spoke about Trick’s early days in WWE.

While speaking to Front Office Sports about Trick Williams, Shawn Michaels spoke about knowing that Trick Williams was going to be special ‘early on’.

“It’s no secret. His charisma jumps off the page. So that was obviously the first thing. He’s a virtual stud. One of those things we always, you know, talk about with him, he’s deceptively big. You don’t realize really how big Trick is. But he’s put together damn near perfectly, and then he has charisma that jumps off the page. So we knew he was going to be special early on. It was just a matter of allowing him to find his footing inside the ring.”
