Shawn Michaels and Triple H are very proud of what they have built with NXT, Shawn Michaels and Triple H are also very proud of their past with D-Generation X. On social media, the question arose, what if those worlds for cheer collide and the past was able to mesh with the present?
Prior to NXT TakeOver: Portland, Triple H participated in a Twitter Q&A session and was asked what NXT Superstars he feels would be best suited for the D-Generation X faction.
Triple H, who is proud of all of his NXT roster, would single out current NXT champion Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, and Tommaso Ciampa as three additions he feels would be good for the rebellious unit. As an added bonus he would even add Io Shirai, perhaps as a modern equivalent to the dangers that Chyna presented in 1998.
