With all the WWE-style promos in the sport of boxing as of late, Shawn Porter decided to cut one on former welterweight world champion Danny Garcia.
Porter, dressed somewhat like The Undertaker, cut a promo on Instagram talking like "Macho Man" Randy Savage and challenged Garcia to a fight in what Porter understood would be another title eliminator for Porter.
“I've only just heard that the WBC would like ‘'Showtime' Shawn Porter to fight another title eliminator. And they want me to fight none other than the cherry picker himself, Danny Garcia. Well I say to you, Danny Garcia, let’s get it on! Ooohhh Yeahhh!” Porter said.
Plain and simple @dannyswiftgarcia ... Anytime, Any place. Whatever I gotta do to get that green belt around my waist. #ThePorterWay #WBC #PorterGarcia #AlwaysReady #Greatness #TooMuchFunForFreeA post shared by Shawn Porter (@showtimeshawnp) on Jul 17, 2017 at 6:12pm PDT

Porter was primed to fight Keith Thurman for the unified welterweight title after beating Andre Berto back in April at the Barclays Center to earn a title shot at Thurman's unified titles. Thurman announced a month later that he had surgery to fix a broken elbow suffered in his unification bout against Garcia. Thurman is expected to be out of action for the remainder of the year.
Garcia has not fought since losing the WBC title to Thurman, which was Garcia's first professional loss. Garcia had only fought as a welterweight for the last couple of years after a lengthy reign as the unified light welterweight champion.
