"The Revenge of Lilly" provided a cinematic close to Monday Night Raw.
Following Alexa Bliss and her doll friend Lilly costing Shayna Baszler a match against Reginald on the Memorial Day episode of Monday Night Raw, Shayna Baszler told Alexa Bliss that she would be coming to meet her face-to-face on tonight's episode and would call Lilly a “stupid doll.” She would wind up regretting those words
On June 7, Alexa Bliss initiated the aggression against Shayna Baszler during their face-to-face segment, after Shayna Baszler repeated her derogatory comments about Lilly.
At first, Shayna Baszler got the better of Alexa Bliss and proceeded to stomp on the face of Lilly but this Unleashed chaos as the pyro went off in the arena and Shayna Baszler would run to the backstage area where random items and stage pieces were falling down and after the former NXT Women's Champion tried to lock herself in a room, it was revealed that the doll was in the room with her end the show went off the air as Shayna Baszler screamed.
WWE will be leaving the ThunderDome on Friday, July 16. As of now, it is unknown whether or not cinematic segments like this, which had become a staple of the present-day presentation of WWE, will stick around following the return to normal arenas.
