This Wednesday, NXT will debut on USA and the Women's Championpion on the newly-dubbed no b.s. brand is the Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler.
In an interview with Muscle and Fitness, Shayna discusses what it is like to be on the road for WWE/NXT, "The hardest part about the crazy schedule that we have now, is maintaining fitness," she said "Typically, if we are not on the road traveling, we train daily in the ring [at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando] and we have strength and conditioning sessions daily. Then [in NXT], we’re performing at least Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Florida area. We are constantly on the go."
Baszler would go on to praise the NXT Women's Championship scene and the title that she has the distinction of being the only competitor to hold twice, "In my opinion, the NXT Women’s title is a very prestigious title to have. So, the fact that I’m the only person to have ever held it twice is a huge thing that I definitely add to my list of accomplishments and I am very, very proud of it."
The future of the NXT Women's Division begins on Wednesday with the Fatal 4-Way match between Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai. That match will determine the new number one challenger for Shayna's championship.
