Sherilyn Guerrero: CM Punk Was An Older Brother I Needed After My Dad Passed Away

CM Punk was there for Sherilyn Guerrero after Eddie Guerrero passed away.
During the week of WrestleMania 42, Bayley hosted her second Lodestone camp for women’s independent wrestlers. Among the attendees was Sherilyn Guerrero, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero.
It was at the camp that Sherilyn reunited with CM Punk, who was present to provide an assist to Bayley along with other WWE talent.
While on The SmoothVega Podcast, Sherilyn stated that it meant a lot to see Punk and added that he was the older brother she needed after her father passed away.
“So with CM Punk, I would go with him to his Make-A-Wishes, I would follow him around the ring. He was an older brother I needed after my dad passed away, and to see him was so heartwarming. We just hugged… I know CM Punk was like, ‘Don’t tell me you’re wrestling.’ I said, ‘I sure am,’ and he just embraced me.”
Sherilyn wrote about her experience at Lodestone and included the following about Punk:
Connecting again with people like you @cmpunk who I would follow around alll the time as a kid and you’d share stories with me that I didn’t know would stay with me all these years.
Guerrero is training at Booker T and Sharmell Huffman’s Reality of Wrestling school in Texas.
