Shingo Takagi Revealed As The Newest Member Of Los Ingobernables de Japon

There is a new member of the group.

The injury to former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi caused a hole to open up in the tranquilo faction known as Los Ingobernables de Japon. It soon became clear that Hiromu was going to be out of action for much longer than expected and there has still yet to be an official announcement regarding how long he'll be out.

After months of just having four active members of L.I.J. and those being: Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, BUSHI and SANADA, Tetsuya Naito announced last week during a video announcement that a new member of L.I.J. was going to be revealed at today's 'King Of Pro Wrestling' event and that individual would also be making his in-ring debut with the group as well. The time for that moment came as BUSHI, SANADA and Naito made their way out to the ring to reveal the newest member of their faction. Naito teased the new member being Rocky Romero and Milano Collection A.T. but after playing up who it would be, it was soon unveiled that the newest member of L.I.J. is longtime Dragon Gate superstar Shingo Takagi.

Shingo Takagi has won every championship that there is to win in Dragon Gate and he is also a former ROH World Tag Team and GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. Takagi, SANADA, BUSHI and Naito took on Kazuchika Okada, SHO, YOH and Toru Yano and it was a track run by L.I.J. as their eight-man tag match was capped off by Takagi delivering his finishing maneuver to SHO to pick up the victory in his debut as with L.I.J. Following the match Tagaki initiated the signature fist bump and it was clarified by the commentators that he is not a replacement for Hiromu but he is indeed a sixth member of the group.
