Shingo Takagi Scores Win Over Claudio Castagnoli At NJPW Destruction In Kobe

Shingo Takagi picked up a victory for NJPW over AEW at Destruction in Kobe.

Takagi won the special singles match with the Last of the Dragon.

Before the finish, Shingo hit a pumping bomber and the Burning Dragon, but Claudio managed to kick out.

This was the first singles bout between Shingo and Claudio. Shingo Takagi called out Claudio after suffering a tag team loss to him on AEW Collision in July. It was also Claudio’s first singles match on a standalone NJPW show.

Claudio is signed to AEW. He missed AEW All Out to compete in this match.
