Shinsuke Nakamura Reportedly Added To NXT UK Tour To Boost Lagging Ticket Sales

Ten days ago, I wrote an article about Shinsuke Nakamura being left off this poster:

I said it could be viewed as a sign that Nakamura was being brought up to the main roster sometime between WrestleMania and June 5th.

However, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nakamura has now been added to the UK Tour. Original ticket sales were looking poor, and Nakamura was deemed to be a cure for that problem.

Now, what does this mean for a possible promotion to the main roster for the former two-time NXT Champion? Well, the tour is two months after WrestleMania, so there's a chance he could be called up and still work the UK dates. He is also currently scheduled for NXT live events in the US through late April.

So while we can't really conclude anything about main roster plans for Nakamura in the near future, at least we know definitively that NXT fans in Great Britain can see Shinsuke Nakamura kneeing dudes in the side of the head come June.
