Shotaro Ashino Challenging For NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title At AJPW’s June 18th Show

The challenger to the Worlds Title has been determined.

It had been announced by the NWA that their Worlds Heavyweight Championship was going to be defended at All Japan Pro Wrestling’s June 18th show.

A challenger has stepped up in Shotaro Ashino. Ashino is a two-time AJPW World Tag Team Champion and a former GAORA TV Champion. He will challenge ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason for the Worlds Heavyweight Title.

“Today @AllJapan_PW announced its hand-selected challenger for NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion @ThrillbillyTCB Silas Mason.

“Big Daddy Thrill” puts his “Ten Pounds of Gold” on the line June 18 in Japan.”

The last time the Worlds Heavyweight Title was defended in All Japan was in May 2024. Then-champion EC3 successfully defended against Ryuki Honda at Korakuen Hall.
