Blackheart wants to share the ring with the evolved Mercedes.
There's a Q&A with Shotzi Blackheart on the Podcast Heat Wrestling YouTube channel. One of the questions posed to her was would she like to work with Mercedes Moné again.
The two shared the ring in WWE on multiple occasions. Blackheart said being in the ring with Moné changed her as a wrestler.
“Yeah. How can you not? Honestly, working with her on the main roster and then even the tag match that I had with Tegan (Nox) against her and Bayley, it changed me as a wrestler. Every time I get in the ring with her, I grow, and she’s grown so much since joining AEW. So I wanna see what this new version of Mercedes Moné is. Yeah, I wanna go toe-to-toe with her. This new version.”
Blackheart has a handful of independent dates lined up. One of those dates will see her challenging for the Maple Leaf Pro Women's Canadian Championship on July 5th.
