The card for the February 20 episode of WWE NXT is taking shape.
After having been teased as taking place on February 13, Shotzi will get her chance to win the WWE NXT Women's Championship, potentially her first singles championship in WWE, on February 20 when she wrestles Lyra Valkyria.
Shotzi confronted Valkyria during the February 13 episode where they agreed that the match would take place after Ava, the current NXT general manager, had already given her approval.
One person who is not happy about this match taking place is Roxanne Perez. Perez stormed into Ava's office where she was then told that she would be taking on Wren Sinclair next week and once that match was behind her, Ava told Roxanne she would be happy to talk about Roxanne potentially getting another NXT Women's Championship opportunity.
Also set for February 20, former tag team partners go one-on-one when Brooks Jensen takes on Josh Briggs. The former NXT UK Tag Team Champions are looking to make their name as singles competitors and after Briggs told Jensen to get over it and stop living in the past on February 6, Jensen looks to make a path for his future by going through his former partner.
Also, Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov will go face-to-face. Hayes attacked Ilja on February 6 and that was on the heels of him turning on his former friend Trick Williams on NXT Vengeance Day.
Rounding out the card for February 20, Lexis King gets another opportunity to become NXT North American Champion when he challenges the massive Oba Femi.
