Shotzi speaks following injury suffered at NXT tapings.
Shotzi suffered a knee injury during the NXT TV tapings on February 13 in a match against Lyra Valkyria. The bout, which was scheduled to air on the February 20 episode of NXT, was stopped and officials tended to Shotzi.
Shotzi was scheduled to face Tiffany Stratton on the February 16 episode of WWE SmackDown in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Due to her injury, she was replaced by Zelina Vega.
Taking to social media, Shotzi commented on missing the match and said she would open up further regarding her injury at a later date.
I don’t have much to say right now other than I am devastated. It’s heartbreaking to be missing my Elimination Chamber opportunity tonight. But I just wanted to wish all the women competing good luck. I’ll open up more about how I’m feeling and my injury later. @WWE
