Shotzi expresses her excitement ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc.
2023 will mark Shotzi's third time hosting NXT Halloween Havoc, which has become one of the brand's annual shows since WWE brought it back in 2020.
Speaking with Steve Fall for WrestlingNewsCo, Shotzi was asked about the card for the first week of the special, which will feature five women's matches.
“I am loving that we are seeing so many women come in today and doing not just regular matches, like Devil’s Playground matches, Lights Out matches. This is a dream come true. So I’m super excited. I will be definitely watching as a fan. My girl Roxanne is in there, Gigi Dolin is getting down tonight, so I am super excited," Shotzi said.
When asked about the return of Halloween Havoc, Shotzi recalled how she wanted to see it happen back when she first signed with WWE. She noted that she was excited the first time the company asked her to host the show, as it was a dream come true. Shotzi also stated that she is excited to step into Elvira's shoes.
“I even joked about it when I first got signed. I was like, man, I wish we could bring back Halloween Havloc because we started doing that. We were taking a bunch of old pay-per-views and bringing them back. I was like, man, when is Halloween Havoc gonna get a chance? Then I got a phone call saying, ‘Hey, we’re gonna bring back Halloween Havoc, we want you to be the host,’ and I just died. I was like, this is my dream come true. I’m dressed up like Elvira right now, and she’s my gal. She was the first woman to be the role model for Halloween Havoc. So I’m stepping in her shoes, and she’s my favorite person ever, so I’m really excited," Shotzi said.
Shotzi also noted that she has put a lot of work into her costumes for Halloween Havoc this year, and she's excited for everyone to see them.
