Site Update: Vince Russo Says Goodbye

As many of you know, Fightful's Vince Russo has been absent the past couple of weeks, as he's dealt with family issues. Today, Vince and Fightful agreed to part ways, as he indicated that his heart wasn't in it anymore. As opposed to keeping Vince locked in a contract, we wanted to give Vince our blessing to pursue his RELM Network passions, as well as Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling.

Life is a lesson, and through our own trials and tribulations we grow as human beings. This last season has been a tough one for me, there's been great loss which drove me to take a long look at where I was at 55, and what my main priorities should be in my life going forward.

With that being said, I will no longer be covering wrestling on Fightful.com. My heart just isn't in the current wrestling product and hasn't been for some time. I encourage you to continue to follow the site, however, as Sean Ross Sapp remains one of the most professional and classiest individuals I have every worked with.

Thanks for supporting me everybody. See you down the road.

Peace.

Vince Russo

I want to thank Vince for being a part of the site, especially in our first few months. Having him was crucial, and was a helpful, familiar face in something very new I was experiencing. We hope to have Vince appear here and there when he's available. Vince, along with Showdown Joe Ferraro and Matt Riddle have helped add an experience that we couldn't have replicated elsewhere. I'll miss doing shows with Vince, and will be seeking a suitable replacement.

We will still look to grow our podcast network, and our constantly reaching out to personalities in MMA, wrestling, and boxing. Thank you to Vince, as well as our loyal readers, listeners, viewers. We have a lot of interesting things planned moving forward.
