Skadi Reflects On CMLL Noche De Campeones 2026 Loss To Hera And Olympia

Skadi comments on facing Hera and Olympia at CMLL Noche De Campeones 2026.

On the show, Skadi and Kira defended their CMLL Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Title against Las Valientitas (Hera & Olympia). However, they couldn’t retain their belts, and their reign ended at 931 days.

Speaking with Fightful’s Luis Pulido, Skadi explained why this match meant a lot to them.

“Well, it was a match that meant a lot to us. We had a main event on the card, right before us: Soberano vs. Averno; there were some really good matches coming up. It was a very important match for us. I think not just for Kira and Skadi; I’m sure for Hera and Olympia, too. It was a match where we wanted to make a splash. We wanted to risk it all, and we wanted exactly this kind of buzz. We trended for about four or five days; we were all over social media—on X, Instagram, and Facebook; we were everywhere. And I think that, regardless of the result—which ultimately didn’t go our way—we walked away with our heads held high because we put on a great match. They chanted “ESTO ES LUCHA” at us twice, with moves from Kira and Skadi, and I think we did a great job. You guys still have a lot more to see because what you saw is just a small taste of everything we can achieve together, and thank you so much for mentioning it. The truth is, this is one of my favorite matches, and it was also quite challenging.  Since it was already a main event & the last match, people suddenly started to leave, but when the action began, a lot of them came back, so that also speaks very highly of our work.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Skadi commented on her tag team with Kira. Fans can read more about it here.
