Skye Blue Recalls Asking To Be Thrown Out Of A Battle Royal Match Because She Didn’t Want To Get Blood On Her New Gear

In 2019, Skye Blue held the Battle Royal Championship for 28 days in Global Professional Wrestling.

She ended up losing the title at the promotion’s Hell’s Bells event in October of that year. Speaking with Simon Miller of Under The Mat for a new interview, Skye Blue recalled essentially eliminating herself from the title reign because she didn’t want to get blood on her new gear.

“I remember I lost it because the ring was covered in somebody’s blood because somebody overgigged and I didn’t want to get blood on my new gear, so I asked to be thrown out of the ring.”
