Skye Blue advances to the next round.
The 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Cup Women's Tournament kicked off on the June 23 episode pf AEW Rampage. In the first quarterfinal match, Skye Blue faced Anna Jay A.S. The two stars clashed in a competitive bout that could have gone either way. Jay went for the Queen-Slayer on multiple occasions, but Blue persevered. In the end, Blue scored the win by hitting the Code Blue.

With the victory, Blue advanced to the next round. She will face the winner of the first-round bout between Ruby Soho and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. That match will be held on the June 28 episode of AEW Rampage.
The Owen Hart Foundation Cup Women's Tournament will continue on the June 24 episode of AEW Collision, as Nyla Rose will face Willow Nightingale. The tournament will also be part of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door; Athena will face Billie Starkz on the Zero Hour pre-show ahead of the main card.
