The show has been at the top of the rankings for cable original shows when not competing with the NBA Playoffs mostly because of the 18 to 49 year old demographic. With the NBA season finally over, the WWE will not have much competition for that demographic on Tuesday and Monday nights.

On YouTube, Smackdown had one video over one million views which was the opening segment with Carmella, James Ellsworth, and Asuka. Other segments which were over 500,000 views include Jeff Hardy's face paint backstage promo and three parts of the main event gauntlet match which determined Rusev as number one contender to AJ Styles' WWE Championship. The debut of Sanity was close to 500,000 views.
