- Following a victory over Jey Uso on Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan declared himself the first entrant in the 2021 WWE men's Royal Rumble.
- Charlotte Flair and Asuka were successful in their first offense of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
- Big E is the new IC Title holder after defeating Sami Zayn.
- Billie Kay tried to show her resume to Santa Claus on tonight’s SmackDown, complete with headshot.
- Next week's card will feature the return of Seth Rollins.

- Dave Meltzer reported earlier today in his latest newsletter that Pat McAfee may resurface in the spring in WWE NXT. Meltzer would also say that NXT largely books with the long-term plan in mind.
