SmackDown Viewership Decreases Again

Last night's edition of WWE SmackDown, advertised to feature a WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and James Ellsworth, but instead showcasing a main event of a Fatal 4 Way to choose a new #1 contender, drew 2.361 million viewers. This is down from last week's 2.479 million viewers for the TLC fallout show.

SmackDown was #9 for the night on cable in viewership, behind Curse of Oak Island, Fixer Upper, The O'Reilly Factor, The Kelly File, Tucker Carlson, Hannity, Special Report and The Five. SmackDown was #2 in the coveted 18-49 demographic, behind only Curse of Oak Island.

The episode also featured an advertised Battle Royal to crown new #1 contenders to the Wyatts' SmackDown Tag Team Titles and an impromptu Women's Championship match.

In comparison, Monday's episode of RAW drew 2.758 million viewers, which is down from last week's 2.976 million viewers.
