SmackDown Viewership Drops On 8/29 After Last Week's Post-SummerSlam Episode

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, featuring a main event of Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev & Jinder Mahal, drew 2.455 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily. This is an 8.5% decrease from the 2.685 million viewers that watched last week's post-SummerSlam episode.

SmackDown nearly missed the top ten in cable viewership last night, coming in at #9, behind The Have & Have Nots, Rachel Maddow, TuckerCarlson, Special Report, The Story, Hannity, Last Word and The Five. However, SmackDown did manage to take the #1 spot in the 18-49 demographic, however.

As a point of reference, the previous night's episode of RAW drew 3.304 million viewers, which is about 26% more than SmackDown drew.
