SmackDown Viewership Gets A Boost From Styles vs Orton And Cena & Nikki Teaming On March 7

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, featuring John Cena & Nikki Bella teaming up to take on Carmella and James Ellsworth as well as an AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton #1 Contender's Matchi in the main event, drew 2.738 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily. This is an increase from the 2.566 million viewers who watched last week's show.

SmackDown came in at #5 in viewership on cable for the night, behind Fixer Upper on HGTV, and three FOX News shows: The O'Reilly Factor, Tucker Carlson and The Five. SmackDown did manage to win the night among 18-49 year olds, coming in at #1 in viewership for that demographic.

By contrast, the previous night's episode of Monday Night RAW drew 3.216 million viewers, which was up from last week's 3.093 million viewers.
