SmackDown Viewership Up For Hell In A Cell Fallout Episode

Last night's SmackDown, featuring Baron Corbin defeating AJ Styles to retain the US Title in the main event, as well as Sami Zayn's highly anticipated explanation for why he helped Kevin Owens defeat Shane McMahon at Hell In A Cell, drew 2.467 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is an increase of 6% over the   2.323 million viewers that watched last week's episode, which represented the worst number going back four months to the second week of June.

SmackDown came in at #4 in total viewership on cable last night, behind Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Rachel Maddow. SmackDown did better in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic, taking #2 behind only American Horror Story.

In comparison, the previous night's episode of RAW drew 2.871 million viewers, 16% better than SmackDown .
