Smackdown Women's Champion Crowned

For the first time in years, the WWE has two main roster Women's champions.

Becky Lynch became the first ever Smackdown Women's Champion, by capturing the blue-brand's new championship in a six-pack elimination match at WWE Backlash.

Alexa Bliss may have stolen the show early, but was eliminated by a Natalya/Naomi powerbomb/blockbuster combo. Naomi submitted to a Natalya Sharpshooter moments later. Nikki Bella pinned Natalya, but qas quickly rolled up by Carmella. Becky Lynch hit the ring.

Carmella and Becky Lynch, two women who were never able to capture the NXT Women's Championship, did battle for a couple of minutes. Carmella gained the upper hand until Lynch pulled out Disarmher to gain the submission victory as the crowd erupted.

"It's because of each and every one of you cheering me on, each and every poster. Each of you singing my song. I don't even know how to hold one of these...we did it," Lynch said after her win.

This is Lynch's first title run in the WWE of any kind.
