SmackDown Women's Title Bout Between Becky Lynch And Asuka Announced For Royal Rumble, Updated Card

WWE announced Becky Lynch will get her SmackDown Women's Title rematch against Asuka at the Royal Rumble.

The announcement was made on Main Event, which airs on Hulu. You can view video of the announcement below.

Lynch lost the SmackDown Women's Title to Asuka this past Sunday at WWE TLC in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match that also featured Charlotte Flair. Lynch and Flair were battling at the top of the ladder when Ronda Rousey interfered, tipping the ladder over, causing Becky and Charlotte to crash to the mat. The interference allowed Asuka to capture the belt.

Lynch pushed for a rematch on Tuesday's episode of SmackDown, but it was announced on Raw that automatic rematches were a thing of the past. Instead, Naomi challenged Asuka for the Women's Title. Asuka defeated Naomi in the bout.

WWE Royal Rumble is scheduled for Jan. 27. Here's a look at the updated card:
