Soberano Jr. Says He Has Rejected Calls From Triple H And The Undertaker

Soberano Jr. discusses repeatedly rejecting calls from Triple H and The Undertaker.
He has been working for CMLL for the past 15 years and has previously said that he doesn’t plan on leaving this promotion.
After the August 21 CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Soberano Jr. said (translated by Fightful’s Luis Pulido) that he has rejected calls from The Undertaker and Triple H.
“Many people say that I am conformist, that they have not looked for me. If you saw how many times I have rejected the call of people who, for many, are important. ‘Oh, his eyes got white I’m scared’ or the one who starts throwing water, I’m not interested in those wrestlers. I reject the calls again, and again, and again, and again and I have been invited to their ‘important events’, but for me, important events are the Aniversario in Arena Mexico. That is a super important event, not only for me, but for Mexican wrestling, for world wrestling. For me it is more important to get to do what (Bárbaro) Cavernario is doing by headlining an Anniversary, I think it is the dream of any Mexican wrestler. For all those who say that I will leave or I will not leave, I am firm in my company. As I have always said, Cavernas (Bárbaro Cavernario), Consejo is like my mother and Arena Mexico is like my father. I’m never going to leave here, I’m grateful for my house, firm with CMLL, and no matter how much they talk and say, I’m not leaving.”
Later, Soberano Jr. says that he has received a lot of calls, but he’s not interested.
“A lot. I’m not interested in the least. I am a full-fledged luchador, and my pride is not for sale.”
