Sol Ruca Explains Her Love-Hate Relationship With The Iron Survivor Stipulation In NXT

Sol Ruca explains her feelings on the Iron Survivor match.

At the recent Deadline premium live event, Sol Ruca took part in the Women’s Iron Survivor match alongside Kendal Grey, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice. This was Ruca’s second time with the stipulation after competing in the inaugural edition of the match in 2024.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Ruca explained her love-hate relationship with the Iron Survivor concept.

“I have a love hate relationship with the Iron Survivor matches because they’re long, it’s a lot. It’s intense. But when you’re done with it, you just feel so accomplished like, ‘Damn, I really just did that.’ I think it’s a great way for up and comers — especially the last one I did, I was still relatively new. I mean, I still am but I was even newer back then. It’s a great way to have these up and comers show out and show that they really deserve that spot. I mean, Kendal was incredible in this last match and I think she really proved that she can hang with us. I think last year, I didn’t win but I think that I proved myself, that I was able to show who I was and show what I was capable of. It’s a great match to showcase how talented we are.”
