Sol Ruca Names Oney Lorcan As The Person She’s Learned The Most From In The Ring

Sol Ruca is learning from the best in NXT.

The Orlando-based development brand is littered with a ton of talented coaches and trainers like Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, Robbie Brookside, Sara Amato, Norman Smiley, and plenty of others.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Sol Ruca revealed that she’s learned the most in-ring skill from Oney Lorcan, who began coaching in 2022. Ruca also noted that Sara Amato is an incredible coach as well.

“I think I’m going to say Oney [Lorcan]. He is my coach now. Oney and Sarah Amato, they’re incredible. Oney, I watched one of his matches last night, a tag match and he’s just so intense and so quick and it looks so good. I think he and I have bonded over the past few years, he’s the one person that I revert to for questions and to pick his brain on stuff.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sol Ruca touched on her love-hate relationship with the Iron Survivor challenge in NXT. Check out her full comments on the match by clicking here.
