Sol Ruca Credits NXT Level Up As A Key To Her Success
Sol Ruca praises her time on Level Up.
Throughout 2022 and early 2023, Ruca competed in many matches on NXT’s Level Up brand, wrestling names like Elektra Lopez, Valentina Feroz, and Fallon Henley.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Sol Ruca said that Level Up was a key to her eventual success in NXT.
“I think Level Up was definitely a key to success. Just being able to get out there and not having it be as intimidating as being on the main show, especially with me not coming in with any background on wrestling. Just being able to get out in front of a crowd and work and if you make mistakes, you learn how to get back on track and not having it be live, it was a great learning experience and it was a great way to get in front of that NXT crowd and get them familiar with me before debuting officially on NXT. Just being able to work a bunch of different people, people that were just starting on Level Up and also people that were on NXT, being able to learn from that. Having those reps, as many reps as possible to get that confidence to debut on NXT.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Ruca recalled being the Cinnamoji at WrestleMania 39 in 2023. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
