Sol Ruca Recalls Being The Cinnamoji At WrestleMania 39, Accidentally Blocking The View Of Fans

Sol Ruca represented Cinnamon Toast Crunch well.

At the WrestleMania 39 event in 2023, Rey Mysterio faced off against Dominik Mysterio in a singles contest. The match was sponsored by Cinnamon Toast Crunch, prompting the brand to send a Cinnamoji mascot to the ringside area.

As many fans know by now, Sol Ruca was the person in-costume for the segment. Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Ruca recalled being in the Los Angeles area for a tryout at the time.

That was an interesting time because again, I was so new to this whole world. I had happened to be in the area for a tryout I believe and they needed somebody who was a female and who was around 5”8 and was in town. I was like, that’s me, that’s perfect. They’re like, ‘Yeah, you wanna do it?’ Yeah, I’m here.”

Ruca also recalled blocking the view of some fans for Rey Mysterio’s entrance.

“It was crazy being in that arena even though I was in this big funky costume and couldn’t really see. I could just feel the energy and feel the presence of everyone. I did feel kinda bad because that costume, it was ginormous and where I had to stand for Rey Mysterio’s entrance, I was blocking people so people were like hitting the back of my costume like, ‘We can’t see’ and I was just trying to ignore them. As soon as we did the little dap up and stuff, they were like, ‘Okay, go’ and I had to walk sideways because I couldn’t walk forward because it was so wide. Yeah, it was a crazy time. It was fun, it was silly.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sol Ruca named her favorite Sol Snatcher of all time. Check out her response by clicking here.
