Sol Ruca says her favorite moments in NXT were related to her tag team with Zaria on the brand.

Throughout her time in WWE NXT, Sol would be split between being a bonafide singles star, but also would feature as part of a tag team with Zaria, challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Titles during their run together before their split prior to Ruca’s callup to the WWE main roster.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Sol Ruca was asked about her favorite moments in NXT, with Sol pointing to her tag team with Zaria.

“That’s hard. Honestly, I feel like my whole experience with, being with Zaria, the whole ZaRuca moment. Being able to be on SmackDown with her and being against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Being able to travel all around with her and we would always share a room together and it was really, really fun. We had a little internet series called ZaRuca Eats where we would go to different cities and try the local food, and I think those moments were so, so fun. But I definitely think one of my favorite moments within ZaRuca was the promo that we had right before our last match, very emotional, it was very intense, and it was really interesting because I feel like some of the fans were a bit confused because everyone does love Zaria because she’s so freaking cool, but then, you know, people were also on my side, but I think she was a bit more relatable because everyone’s been jealous before, you know, everyone’s had someone that they, you know, want to be that successful or want to be the champion or whatever that means, and then I think people weren’t necessarily, not on my side, but weren’t as connected to my story being the one that is on the other side of it. But you know, I think it was a really cool dynamic and a really cool story that we told.”
